The first time I steep for a very short time and the second for a longer time. This is a great tea. It's very warming and quite potent, in fact I use the bag twice. I am amazed at how sweet and spicy this tea is with no sugar added. I was so glad to find it when I remembered the taste from my college days in Olympia, Washington.
I highly reccommend the Red Bush and Orange Spice tea. I first had this company's tea in Seattle. It is a little shop at the famous open air market, Pike's Place. It is wonderful beyond description. The flavor is so distinct, one would know they are having tea from this store.
My daughter brought me back 5 teabags of MarketSpice from a Seattle business trip. High flavored, not all watered down. I liked it so much that I wanted more. This doesn't taste like tea, it tastes like a specialized drink. You don't need anything in it like sugar or cream. It is perfect the way it is.
I love this tea, it's such a comfort on our rainy Washington days, even the sunny ones. It's that perfect blend of spice and sweetness that I love. Keep making wonderful products.
I used to have one but I think it got lost. I actually spent like $13 to have a few tea bags sent to my house. I used to buy this tea locally in bulk from a coffee and tea store in Portland, Oregon. That's how much I love this tea. However, it really stains your teeth so now I'm shopping for one of those little battery operated tooth polishers. I always get decaf because if you drink enough of the caffeinated, you'll get a little shakey. So anyway, the tooth staining thing was a real actual issue with this tea, but my old tooth polisher took the stains right off.
